Technical check transmission / drive mode unavailable

hi everybody!
regarding my problem with my fiat 500x, with the check transmission warning/ drive mode unavailable … with the result the car couldn’t move!, i replaced the smart drive control unit - code F5522732 and after 500 km the car is going well and it seems tha the problem is resolved!!!!

Could be the gearbox sensor, mine had similar errors and a new sensor was fitted under warranty (1.3 DDCT)

Reviving a very old thread but @RichardH13 if you're out there, do you have any more details on this and which sensor was replaced? Having some issues currently with a 1.4 multiair with the twin-clutch auto (TCT/DDCT). Thanks...

They said it could have been one of two sensors, an easy to reach and a difficult one.
It think it was the one that senses when it is in Park.
It flashed up "P" and the error, it thought I was in Park when on the motorway a few times and then jammed in Park a few times until restarting.
So I think it was the "P" sensor
