Having just read the sticky about keeping on-topic and things not descending into smut - I just about dared to open this topic up, as the title made me laugh. You see this is me (slightly off here only for a moment): I was seriously trying to think what Dutch food actually was (as I'd searched out the asian restaurants whilst I was there, not wanting frites with everything) when we were passing a restaurant on the approach to Southampton called "A Taste of Amsterdam" - hubby had to put me right when he assumed it was not actually a restaurant... How was I to know?

It was just a dark glass windowed place with title in bronze metal letters above it, just like a restaurant... So me for one am glad of moderation on FF and thankful.
On topic again:
So I thought, something metal needing a bra - what on earth is a car-bra? I
have to have this one seriously wrong too. So much relieved to see it's quite obvious, so thanks for bringing this item to our attention.
In the 3.5 years I've been ogling the second-hand F500's at my local dealership I've seen so many horribly pitted bonnets. Once we saw a Pasadoble and a Calypso side by side with chips all over them right down to the metal - in exactly the same area the car-bra covers. We're talking about 30 on each, we stopped counting past 20.
It kind of put me off a lot for a while - now I'd found my dream-car I'd be devastated if it chipped each time I went out practically

. I think that on the black car shown, it looks kind of masculine If I were going on a driving holiday or planning on lots of motorwaying - I might say to "the bowels of the earth" with it, I'll get one. Not so keen on black for my R-Red though, but if it came in other colours (yes, red) then would consider one for day-trips. But then again I'm at that newbie stage of seriously considering laying out a set of cones around and raising a mini-marquee each time I park my gem up...
Will keep an eye out in this section - but for now thanks for letting us know about this new bit of "outerwear" !
