Technical Boot light missing?

I noticed working on my 2011 model 312 last night that the boot was awfully dark.

Looking around it seems like there is supposed to be an LED behind the nearside rear seat? Shown here:

Ours has the cut-out in the plastic for the bulb but there's nothing there... I've pulled the lining out and traced the brake light wiring harness and I can't seem to find the wiring plug for it either.

Did some models just not come with them?

My 2011 colour therapy did not have one either but it fits on the left side of the boot under the parcel shelf i looked behind the carpeted panel and found the wiring and the connector , then just bought a used lamp of e-bay for around £12 plugged it in and it worked straight away dont see why this should not work for you as well!.

We have two 48led panels in our 59 pop, the cable was there taped up

Dont disagree but I reckon you should always have an emergency torch in your car anyway!

Thanks all, I found the plug, it was just taped right the way back up - had to pull the pillar cover off to get to it.
