If you take one as a pattern there is usually a "Screw shop" bolt stockist that can match what you need, there is one around our way. Often if you ask a garage where they get odd bolts etc. they will point you in the right direction.:)

Thansk a lot can you suggest any stockist ? @Herts Hillhopper thank you a lot .

I know I can measure a screw by putting 2 screw togheter and if the thread fit then it is OK.

As a quick reply, the airbox screws are not shown as a separate item in the parts listing, but I'll look further!

Thank you a lot as usual.

I was thinking to go to places where scap cars and ask or call them to know if they have any fiat panda 1.3 diesel or fist 500 diesel?

I will let you know , probably fiat 500 is more common than panda ...

I am quite disappointed because I never had a good service in any of the garage I went , there was everytime something wrong. Sorry to let steam off but this time I was hoping to spend a relaxed Christmas.... they even lost my valve cap at the tyre garage.... I do not know what to say....

Some people are unlucky with garages, find a good one and be faithful to them and it should pay off.
Before I retired I had been servicing and repairing many of my regular customers vehicles for over 25 years and a few I had known for over 50 years with their vehicles.:)

Dear All,

I bought some screw from amazon ( you can find it cheaper from ebay but I decide to spend a little more to get it in one day with prime).

Please find the pictures and link to amazon.

The main difference is the shorter thread. (longer thread like original spread the energy along a wider surface and making it more tight and resistant, only thing I would suggest , if you use one of those do not go to tight too much and be careful even with the original, it is metal on plastic.

a part for this difference the thread is perfect and almost identical to the original .

the thread is about 2.3 / 2.2 mm (I took the measurement with a very sensitive instrument with a resolution of 0.1mm ) probably the correct measurement is more realistically 2.25. mm . the diameter of the screw is 5 mm.

the price has changed now , I bought it for 8 £.

they fit ok.

Being Alloy, they may not last through many services (a bit soft..)

But good temporary item 👍

Opel : Vauxhall.. General Motors 😉
Maybe your local Vauxhall garage has the FIAT pattern ones? 🤔
My main concern is the head , is seems weaker than the original one.

I think that this will be a fix for long term.

I have 10 of them.

I can go to a scan car when i go back to Italy and see what they have , 500 and panda are a lot more common

Like I said I overnight all 4 ( I thought it was OK and not too tight) but probably the freezing wheater did a part as well. The plastic below the screw has a small crack see the picture. Those bolts are designed to not get un tight easily. Even with low force they will stay in place. Do to overtight those : it is easy to overweight them.

Ps it is working I do not think is too bad but I will consider buying a new cover. Just in case

Thank you for all the details you shared.

I noticed that the airbox itself is quite wobbly and vibrating.

Is there a way to thight the screw ?
So far as I can see on mine (which, like yours is a 1.3 diesel), it's just held in place by push-fit rubber mounts -- probably to reduce potential damage from vibration. So long as there's a good seal to the duct that leads from it to the turbo piping, it's OK to wobble a bit.

If you follow the links to ePER at the top of this forum (ePER is the Fiat online part catalogue), and delve through, you'll end up here:

and then, from within ePER itself, find the item you want to look for (number 1 in this case).. Then click the 'magnifying glass' symbol next to the part number (I've put a blue circle round it) , and it takes you to Google and shows anywhere with that part for sale... (All very clever, and one of the neat little 'hidden extras' from the Forum's creator @ben that work sooo well) . Several complete airboxes for sale from as little as £40.
