Sorry if not to clear Novitec do 16s for the standard panda but advise 195/45/16 tyres but for the 100hp 195/40/16 tyres well i think they do..

They'll likely be saying that to maintain the same rolling radius (to minimise speedo error). So 195/40/16 works out about 1% difference to standard 100hp. Looking up the MJ sizes they are standard at 155/80/13 so 195/45/16 is the closest match. Of course if you don't care about speedo accuracy, you could run the 40's.

A wider track on the 100hp will push the wheels further out, hence why the 100hp has the wheel arch extensions.

A non 100hp obviously has the wheels further under the arches. You need to be careful that the wheels don't end up protruding past the wheel arches. If you are getting bigger wider wheels I would say go for the same offset as they will fill the arches better anyway.

Yes, I will try to count on it a bit after I have lowered the car and se what ET I can manage.

On 16s and best looking Panda on forum IMO :yum:

17"

A few questions....

a) What is the ride like over the bumpy stuff?
b) What fouling (if any) occurs (especially on full lock)?
c) What size tyres are you running?
d) Is the Speedo out now?

I did say tried them on :D

a) wheels wouldnt turn
b) needed huge spacers on front to clear the brakes, needed spacers on the rear to clear inner arches.
Then the wheels would protude further than the arches which is an mot fail, so no point in fitting them
c) This was 205/40/17
d) will never find out

edit - plus looks like a 4x4

Well having read all of this thread and went ahead and fitted 17"x7 with zero Nero's I have got to say that the car: handles fine; corners fine and looks fine.

The abarth wheels do not rub or affect steering (which has very poor lock anyway).

My observation of this thread and those who contributed to it is don't knock it until you try it.

18s won't fit a 100hp
