Not getting into the debate of whether its actually a copy or not as im not very interested in it deep down the OP knows the truth
What i will say is that if it is indeed a copy i personally would find it an honour that someone has spent thousands of £s to have something look the same as what i had created, to me you are publicizing my work and my creation to a different part of the country and that is only good, not only that but i have made the 1 person that is copying me feel on top of the world, they are pleased to be driving around in my original idea and it is making them happy
At the end of the day I think we are all guilty of copying one another, be it from something costing a few pounds to 4/5 figures
Not seen how many different people have posted on this thread, but i bet we all have/have had similar bits on our cars to one another, someone who has posted on this thread will have the same alloys, induction kit, engine change etc etc as someone else who has posted on this thread.
For instance Karbine has done a mod same as me to his focus, ive had my car a lot longer than he has, i obviously did it before him so is he copying me?
With every mod there has to be a source -someone has done it originally and we jump on the bandwagon because its a good mod, either to look at, practical wise or perfromance wise
I think the criticism is unfair from most quarters but i can see why there is a lot of critiscism also because you want to see individuality with builds and threads like this but i think the days of indiviuality are gone
