The flood I drove through to get home was a wee bit less than that but not by much and if truth be told I was selling my soul to any god that exists that I didn't stop half way through.

My only worry is there were a couple of people (Lee and Donna spring to mind) who indicated they might turn up which is why we need to be clear about what is happening. A change of time and venue would make sense and I'm all for it but we need to advertise this sooner rather than later

indeed, unfortunately a lot of the situation is outwith our control. Safety has to be the priority.

really needing to hear from those thinking of attending ASAP as to wether they still want to make the trip at all and if they do, wether they wish it to be a later start

Guys n gals,

I've just caught up with Mark. We're going to move this to Tesco Kingsway, Dundee. We can always go for a run from there, depending on the weather etc.

We'll be on the roadside end of the car park, as you come in from the Aberdeen end of the Kingsway. Just past the petrol station.

Any questions, please give me a call or text. 07927 300217.

Cheers,
Martyn

Thats fine, Im going to be coming in by the perth side as need to go in by Stewart Plant Sales for a part for a JCB :(

Hard to tell. The forecast I've looked at says there is no more rain due overnight but the flood I drove through to get back into ellon tonight was the worst I've seen in years so I can imagine it's pretty bad elsewhere and may take a while to subside. Plus according to bbc news East Wemyss has serious flooding and that's where Lewis lives so he may not make it either.

really we could do with those interested checking in and saying what their situation is and whether or not they can still attend. I can and I'm also happy to make it later to give flood water a chance to go down. Plus there's no reason we can't relocate if there's enough of us still happy to turn up. Just a thought

To be honest, the place that flooded is on the main road but its next to a scheme so is easily bypassed. However, Methilhill (A couple of minutes away) was inpassable without a truck. But to be fair, fife council were doing well clearing the floods :)

This was a mini mini meet but hardly surprising considering the floods from the day before. However we had 3 fiats in attendance plus Mark's honorary fiat and despite the weather trying to scupper things it was a good laugh.

Ah Pleasureland. Wow, that's one for the Trades description act...

Quite honestly, imagine a fun fiar on Craggy Island and this is ten times worse/better.

i think the words "dated" and "s***hole" are the two that sum it up best
