Last meet before the Xmas Bash

Well, the best suggestion we've had so far is St Andrews - can anyone manage Sunday 30th September?

St. Andrews IMO is a bad idea

there's not much there, parking is horrendous so car photo ops are going to be tricky, there's not that many good proper driving roads around it tbh.... oh and at the weekend it is going to be utterly, utterly mobbed. so the already congested roads that may be a fun drive will be filled with Toyota corollas driven by 75 year old men who can't see over the steering wheel so just look at their soiled trousers instead whilst trundling along the middle of the road at 25mph in a 50 whilst oncoming cars mount the roadside to avoid them

did i mention i have experience of St.Andrews and the roads? :laugh:

First instinct was to tell you to do something constructive and suggest somewhere else instead rather than just complaining but as I've read the pissed off thread I won't

On my part - I'm free on the 30th and more than happy to drive south if that gets more people involved but equally happy to arrange something north if others want to travel instead

After all a meet up here just means another excuse for a road trip later
