Arbroath: The last mini meet before Xmas

Ok, having thought about another meet before Christmas - what about a wee run out on Saturday 13th October?

Could meet in Arbroath and head for a wee drive around Tayside/Angus? Know a couple of places we could stop for some food, if folk are up for it?

Ok, what about meeting up at Pleasureland - it's easy to find, as it's on the main road through Arbroath. Parking really shouldn't be a problem.

Meet up at say 2pm?

The cross-country route may be longer and the roads in a dreadful state but it's way better than sitting in traffic

Still planning on avoiding Aberdeen though. In fact I'm aiming to get to Arbroath without using the A90 once

I suspect their argument would be the name is ironic :laugh: I've never been there but just had a quick look on google street view and it looks grim. The arcade on Aberdeen beach front looks more entertaining and I've always thought it was uninviting

i was in Arbroath yesterday, trust me, it's went downhill even from the google street view

it's also apparently generally full of argumentitve and generally drunken eastern european workers

i think i'll be moving swiftly on if you all go in there :laugh:
