General ABS Sensor Qty, Connector etc. 2012 Evo 1.2

Hi,
our ABS light is coming on now and again and its due its MOT later this month. We had the sensor replaced but the light still comes on intermittently which means it could be a problem with the connections. When I search online I get mixed results as some parts supplier seem to suggest that there are 2 at the front, whereas others say the rear. So I am just looking for clarification. How many are there on the car 2012 plate Evo. and where is the connector? I see the cable is around 700mm long so it can't be connected near the wheel. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. cheers Pete.

As far as I know it has always been one per road wheel, otherwise it couldn't function in it's job of detecting when each individual wheel reacts to road/driving conditions, spinning or locking up etc. So you are looking at four ABS sensors, but probably only one fault , hence a good diagnostic fault reader is the best option to prevent spending unnecessary money.
Otherwise if unsure get your garage to test it.

Yeah my mate that replaced the sensor said it was the driver side front and the connector is up near the spring. I'll have a look at the wiring tomorrow and hopefully find a dodgy connection
