General Abarth on the wish list....

i test drove their demo- the one im looking at is in their showroom in campovolo grey, so, like my current 500 will be looked after and not ragged about...hopefully will be very solid feeling and rattle free....just like mine now...

i really am sold on the want, just not quite sure on the 'need'...ahhh!
:D:D

Of course it isn't going to be any more prone to rattles than any other 500 or Panda or Ka for that matter as they are all built on the same line ;)
Hmm..... I reckon with having stiffer suspension it would be more prone to rattles than the standard hatchback.

despite the stiffer suspension the ride was MUCH flatter and more grown up....it didnt bounce!!!...which made a nice change!

so i went for the test drive today-

LOVED IT!...car had 1500m on the clock but was already quite rattly....

amazing pick up, much more grown up ride quality, tho still hard, not bouncy, amazing interior, boost gauge, LOVED IT....

i have my eye on a campovolo grey one, he has it lined up for me so im mulling it over, but, do they all rattle like that??? my 500 is 9 months old and has NO rattles!.....it would drive me insane!...im thinking its a hard driven demo?

also the average MPG over 1500 miles was 29....what are abarth owners here getting?...not really up for bankrupting myself!

loved it, but should i do it?...thts the question!!!!

My Abarth is now a year old. I haven't experienced any rattles & it's been 100% reliable so far. The best mpg I've had was 47.9, over a 50 mile run,
on a twisty A road. I usually get 35 - 38 from spirited dual carriageway/motorway driving. It's an amazing little car to drive. :)
