I would like to thank all of those who really helped me making my decision. :)
I just placed my order and around December i'm gonna receive my new toy :p.

This is my order in detail:

1.2 lounge
Volare Blue
Blue checquered seats with ivory ambiance
16" spoked alloys
Side strips with 500 badge
Leather gear knob
Electric sunroof
Automatic climate control!

+ rear parking sensors for free

I'm so excited

That sounds very nice- happy motoring! :)

Am I right in saying that only the TwinAir is available in Volare Blue here in the UK?

50 days :) but it's not for sure.

I ordered mine June 1 2010.
The car arrived in Greece like last week of July 2010, so about 8 weeks maybe a bit less. (50 days as you say).
Then the dealer was closed from August 1-August 15 (what do you expect lazy people they could have left 1 guy in the shop to give the cars, but anyway it wont affect you as it is not summer)
August 15-August 30, the lazy people couldnt be bothered to get my number plates quciker than in 2 weeks and obviously they do not deserve me trying to bribe them so i waited.
September 1 2010, the car is given to me and i drive away.

Ahmett correct me if wrong but i think that ministry of transportation is closed during August ....

They could be but they really shouldnt. They should have half staff away august 1-august 15 and half staff away august 15-august 30. Anyway, let me know how long it takes you to get your numberplates once the car is in Athens!

Wish you all the best Chrisilda. :)(y)
I also ordered mine today, same delivery time promised from dealer as well (which dealership did you get it from?). Ι keep my fingers crossed to get it before the end of year, so that I'll take advantage of the available scrappage scheme available till then.
So let's hope that time flies fast till December...

:Offtopic:to ahmett: Dear friend, although I'm sure you do not mean any harm, why do you accompany almost all your posts in the forum with a bad comment about Greece? A country with one of the smallest debts in Europe, which however and for some weird reasons goes through all this trouble. Think positive, my friend - we all might have financial issues nowadays, but I'm sure that we will soon somehow get over them; we always do for 3000 years now. Smile and enjoy your beautiful car. :)

I do think positive! I ordered it from Fiat Tsokas because it is the only leadership which provides me with a car until my 500 arrives. Moreover, i have free of charge service for 5 years or 60.000 km

If i knew that i would have gone to Tsokas = (( Too late now!

And about my comments about Greece i like the country I was just saying that i want the bureaucracy removed and so I can actually buy a car and get my number plates the day after and make the country more money by being more efficient. To have change you must find the bad points of a country and talk about them and improve them. If you ignore the bad parts and pretend it is not there then nothing will change.

To be honest i will pay 250 euro for this car (it's a 1.4 stilo) but it's ok because in case that i wanted to rent one it would cost me around 800 euro.

Sorry for digging up this thread but i just wanted to share with you that i just got informed that my car arrived at the dealership! I'm gonna see it today (i'm so excited) and sign rest of the paperwork on Monday! I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!
