Here's a picture of my one with the A-bar and a previous thread on it. It suits my girly spec and gives it a retro touch.
If I had a Sport model I probably wouldn't put it on.
Side mouldings - I prefer mine without them but the majority on here seem to prefer them. If you are in car parks a lot (I've very careful where I park mine ) then they serve a purpose. If you already have the italian stripes & you are considering mouldings - then it is really one or the other.

EDIT:
Another one with the A-bar and side mouldings...

Girly Spec - where is your pride, have you stopped caring ? :) Even with side mouldings other car's doors have dented and scratched our car.

Ackers what colour is yours ?

It doesn't do to be sensitive on it.;)
As the OH says the car isn't really me but I still LOVE the car. :)
All those dents on the new 500 - that's what you get when you let the OH drive her car to the shops.

Though you might enjoy the reference below from this review...

CUTE, OR TOO CUTE?
Described by its designer Roberto Giolito as resembling a baby’s sneaker, the 500 is undeniably cute. Certain to make the car a hit with women, it’s less likely to resonate with a male audience – young or old. But don’t worry guys, just hold out for another year when you’ll find the Abarth-tuned model far more appealing thanks to more than a 50 percent boost in power.
Even the manliest of men can, however, appreciate its originality, which helped the 500 win the 2009 World Car Design of the Year award.
