Hi all. Just after a bit of advice to see is it possible to replace the sway bar bushings on a fiat 500 and if so, is there a guide? I've not seen one around the Internet/youtube etc, only some guy cutting it out his car coz its "not needed"....

Long story short, the car rattles going straight or over bumps, sounds abit like the exhaust clunking but I've replaced exhaust hangers, rear springs, bump stops already and the drivers side drop link. There is play in the drivers side sway bar bushing. Retightened the drop link connected to it but no dice. The bushing looks inaccessible though to replace or is it a garage job?

Any advice is most welcome. Thanks.

Rattles, thinking about it tend to be ball joints or maybe the top shock bearing or even failing shock absorber?
Or even loose airbox or battery?
To be honest I did think more shocks than anything coz its a 13 yr old car, they don't look the best like they've never been changed. Not had the car that long, going through things that need doing 1 at a time and seems littered with issues. Just wanted to fix the stuff I'm able to but something like shocks/springs is out of my capability. Battery/airborne have been changed and refitted so they're pretty solid in there. I'll have to go the garage and maybe it'll be the shocks. Thanks!

Bushes dont tend to rattle when worn, more of a heavy clunk depending on what wheel hits a bump.

I've booked it into the garage for next week and gonna let them figure it out and hit me with a big charge. God bless italian cars 🤣
