Hi this is my first post and I am hoping for some advice please. I have a 2.3 JTD camper based in a LWB Ducato. I've just had the lower pulley wheel changed as I was wobbling all over and I had been told the rubber inside it had delaminated. My van has done 93k which for a camper is quite high but I suppose low for a van. Anyway the wheel still wobbles any ideas? I have attached a video of it. Any help appreciated. Many thanks Dan

Hi sorry for some reason it won't let me post a video but it just shows the bottom pulley wheel wobbling about as though it was a buckled wheel. But it's brand new. Thanks

Hi, and welcome, you can post images after 5 posts.., :)

common for rubber to break down, also check belt tension is correct ( or they have mounted it correctly..!!), ;)

I know the 2.2 (Peugeot/Citroen) engined pulleys are common, and manufacturers kept on modifying them (when I was working at pug dealers parts) but the aftermarket ones never were modified, (I'm going back a few years)

So kept on failing

The genuine newer versions also had a modified bolt and washer
If these weren't changed along with a mod pulley, you may find the bolt doesn't match or is worn

If iveco engine I personally haven't come across a pulley problem, not to say one doesn't exist

But I also just noticed yours is a 53 plate so might or might not be relevant !
The pug/cit HDi engines might be still fitted in yours though

if its the same type of pulley as 1.9 jtd's there is a small hole on back of pulley which needs to line up with a little pip on end of crankshaft if not lined up it will wobble

did wonder about that too..(y)
BIG question is.. does the inner mount run true - or "out" with the outer part..??,

Hi the lig is aligned in the locator but it's still wobbling all over. It appears that the shaft in the middle could be out of line. I presume it would be a big job to change this shaft?
