General 500 and your winter trip

Well guys winter and the festive season is almost upon us what are your winter driving plans for weekends away or meeting family !!

We hope to do a London/Glasgow trip on 26/12 for a few days in the 500 and then golf first week of Jan in Islantilla, Spain just over from Faro.

This summer we did a 2000m Euro trip following in Maxi's footsteps but including Stelvios Pass and Austria, it was awsome, love to do something similar next year, but going via Germany this time.

Hope there's not too much snow for your trip to Scotland! I'd hate to be stuck on a motorway with winter tyres when that person up ahead blocking the motorway is on summers!!!!!

hahahahah thats probably what i would do and if things got really bad i guess if i went to a ski resort i would have some chains or snow socks in the boot for if i get stuck!

Yeah but sometimes they close the road if you want to go skiing to parnassos when it snows and there is so much traffic on that small road. But if you go skiing in March summer tires are just fine = )

I'm hoping to give my Dad a 'shout' over the Christmas down the country but I'm going to keep the dates a big secret in case someone reads this.
