Hi guys,

I ordered a brand new Fiat Bravo via an online broker here:

www.drivethedeal.com

Now, quoting their website word for word they state,

"All cars are brand new and you will be the first registered keeper."

However, they then continue to state

"Please note we are unable to include the 5 year warranty on Bravo models in conjunction with the level of discount we are offering. However it can be purchased for £350.00."

I always thought that if the car was brand new AND you are the 1st registered owner that the 5 year warranty was automatically included from Fiat...?

Anyone have any info on this, I don't wanna end up paying the £350 extra they suggest on their site if I am entitled to the 5 year warranty regardless... hmmmmm.

Quote from their website FAQ page:

"Q: Do you import the cars
A: No, we never import cars. We only order cars from UK main dealerships."

So it is an official UK dealer supplied car.

Well, having just spoke to the nice lady at the Fiat Dealer that will be supplying my car she ensures me that my Bravo will come with 5 year warranty as standard and at no extra cost. Horaay!

My understanding is that the warranty is made up of 2 year manufacturers and 3 years dealer warranty. Cars which are bought as new, 1st owner and not discounted can have the 5 year warranty.
Apparently when the dealer orders your car, it is done so with a specific code to ensure the car is a 5 year warranty vehicle when it's registered.
Some dealers have ordered the car using the wrong code and had to offer an alternative warranty for the extra 2 years.

Spoke to a dealer today, 5 year is with any new Bravo (no matter how you pay), that quote from the Fiat website means if you buy a pre reg it'll only have 3 years.

Dealer was talking about getting me in a car and pre reging it but i'd only have 3 year warrenty.
