So the sliding door lock doesn’t work and I’ve lost voltage to the inner door contacts . Since I home converted it to a camper I wonder if I damaged a wire in the process. Could anybody provide the route the wires take to the central locking control unit

There are various options for door locking. Did the sliding door have functioning central locking, before conversion? I could be wrong, but I think that there is no permanent 12V to the door contacts, just a pulse.

I have a memory of reading posts where the contact board had warped, to the extent that contact was lost.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it’s a pulse voltage on pressing the central locking key, on a Google search I can find lots of questions about faults but no answers. It’s not a connection problem between the van and door contacts as is a common answer on YouTube. I have no pulse voltage to the back of the contacts in the van door pillar. All other doors work correctly 😳

The attached extract from the x250 Training Manual (2006?) states the the "Door Management Control Unit" is located under the RH end of the dashboard. eLearn for the x250 is a very large zipped file with .rar extension. Available in the downloads section, it will possibly contain information that is still applicable, or can be used as a guide.

Hi busdennis. Did you ever sort this? I have the same problem with our van. No pulse power to the rear of the connector attached to the van.
