looks good mate
almost there, dont think the horman strut brace will fit anymore tho
The 1.1/1.2 8v and 16v coil packs all look the same. I know everybody says use 1.2 16v ones but what is the difference?

Where abouts are you going to add the joiner? to the large pipe off of the thermostat? Dan

EDIT - Don't suppose you know what weight the flywheel went down to?![]()
i can't remember what packs on mine, could well be off my old 8v engine. The brava/o ones differ as the coil pack for all 4 cylinders is one unit.
Instead of making a joiner etc, what about just drilling and tapping the stat housing?

Hi again guys,
Been quiet for a while now! Haven't had the money to get the manifold, and don't think I will in the near future so I went a bit Blue Peter on it! Don't laugh! lol
I machined up a flange plate to match the 1368cc Fiat head, then I took a rover K-Series 16v exhaust manifold (as its steel and tubular) cut the flange from it and modified the pipes (using heat and force!) to match the ports on the flange. (Fiat port centres 77mm oblong, Rover port centres 90mm round).
Then I made a gasket from exhaust gasket material to match.
As I said very Blue Peter!
Looks not too bad and at least it should get me mapping and running!
Gonna try a K-Series downpipe on it when I get the chance.
Comments welcomed as always!
Lenny

I can only repeat what Jamie said above, using a de-comp plate is often looked on as a bodge, but its NOT. Its a well known solution to a problem.
I also like the theory of a Head gasket going before a piston melts..
My experience is that the piston melts before the head gasket goes...........
