Technical 1.9td Ducato 10 2000yr speedo cable drive support

Hi guys!

Trying to locate a speedo drive support (for the dreaded 1.9TD box) - we suspect the plastic unit has suffered from excessive heat. Have just replaced the gearbox but

have a leak from the spe

edo drive. Have a new cable and seals, but need the actual support. Thought I'd found one from Coastal Motorhomes, but it's not quite right...

You're absolutely right - I do have a new seal, and the condition of the old seal does suggest oil could easily have got past that - we can't figure out why anyone would have done that, but you just don't know the life they've had before you. If i can't locate a replacement support I'll juts try the replacement seal and fingers crossed!

What do you mean by replacement support?

Ah do you mean the compete item number 2 in your diagram, the light grey plastic part?

Yes, that's correct, the plastic part; number 2 in the diagram (would have been useful if I'd made that clear in my original post!)
