Well this afternoons fun included re-instating the evap cannister & plugging in the solenoid.
Emission light started flashing as soon as i hit an uneven section of road.
WHY????
Don't understand why plugging in the evap solenoid causes fueling issues.

Will drop fuel tank next w/end & check for bad fuel connections.

In order to move the 'project' forward can anyone suggest a Fiat/Lancia (not Rover) TB that will be less restrictive than what i've got without ruining the torque.
Did read an article by Kritip that the 1.2 1.6v has a 42mm butterfly but found references by others to it being 38mm??? Can anyone clarify this, or what size a 1.4 8v would have had.

Bravo/Brava, etc. You're unlikely to find one that's too big, so, go for a bigger one with an IAC with the same kind of connector to the one you've got. Consider getting the entire inlet mani -- that way you can easily make up an adaptor to fit the inlet mani you're using.
 
Make sure he hasn't cut the pipe from elsewhere in the system.

Fuel vapour is coming out of pipe.
Pretty sure he fitted Cinq tank, more likely return pipe isn't sealed off properly :shakehead:
Might even be a loose/bad wiring connection, waiting for crimps 2 arrive so i can finish replacement loom.
