Is it the area at the rear in the middle of the rocker cover? Where are the Coil Packs situated? Thought the PCV valve was autonomous and not actuated by a sensor. Thanks for the valuable info. 👍

There is a big hexnut on mine. Valve is underneath. Seems very difficult to get it out, without removing the rocker cover. See if there is a socket, thin enough that fits tight on having a little gap all around to avoid ruin the hexnut threads.
After about 28000km since last change of air filter. Looks resonably clean.

I don't think that has anything to do with crank case venting.......rather gauze oil filter to protect uni air module

In which way? 🤔
I believe it is an oil filter in an oil way , the spring loaded ball can be depressed to aid bleeding air out of the oil feed to the uni air if engine not starting after being stood unused for a long period

Hard to tell. Use it everyday starts straight away.

And indeed BE CAREFUL. A speck of dirt entering therin will do a lot of damage if it gets inside the valve blocks. Always clean the outside VERY carefuly if going into this one. Carb cleaner and a good blast of air. It specifically states in Uniair information that this is a non serviceable part. Many on here have had them out and cleaned them but they should really not need doing if the oil changes are done on schedule. Its a filter of last resort to protect the valve gear. Interfering with the ball valve is also not a good idea as if you release it you may drain the oil from the uniair unit and cause yourself a ship load of pain and expense. Maintain the system by using the corretc oil and changing at the recommended intervals.

Making oilchanges every 9000-max 12000km. 148000kms and runs as new. Zero oil consumption. Oil leak is the only thing that irritates me on this brilliant little engine.

I will ev. try to find a thin walled socket to take out the valve, without having to remove the rocker cover. Guess I have to buy a cheap one and grind it til it gets through without damaging the threads of the hex cover protection screw. PCV valve is about 50ÂŁ. Part nr.: 71770205

Wonder which socket though 15 or 17mm?

Search TA uniair filter and I am pretty sure you will find the information you are looking for as its been discussed before. Also look in thje guides 500TA and Panda as there a great guide on the uniair unit that will help.

I hope one of these may help but I have read on here another Fiat document that says the filter is no a serviceable items. I have also heard on here something that says if removed it must be replaced. I suspect due to O rings as much as anything.

What you are talking about is not a pcv valve

Sorry yes I know that part, I mean please post photo of the pcv valve you mention being near oil filter
