Is it the area at the rear in the middle of the rocker cover? Where are the Coil Packs situated? Thought the PCV valve was autonomous and not actuated by a sensor. Thanks for the valuable info.

In which way?I don't think that has anything to do with crank case venting.......rather gauze oil filter to protect uni air module
I believe it is an oil filter in an oil way , the spring loaded ball can be depressed to aid bleeding air out of the oil feed to the uni air if engine not starting after being stood unused for a long periodIn which way?![]()
Hard to tell. Use it everyday starts straight away.I believe it is an oil filter in an oil way , the spring loaded ball can be depressed to aid bleeding air out of the oil feed to the uni air if engine not starting after being stood unused for a long period
Checked the valve by pushing the ball very gently with a thin soft plastic stick. Runs very smooth, no signs of malfunction.Hard to tell. Use it everyday starts straight away.
And indeed BE CAREFUL. A speck of dirt entering therin will do a lot of damage if it gets inside the valve blocks. Always clean the outside VERY carefuly if going into this one. Carb cleaner and a good blast of air. It specifically states in Uniair information that this is a non serviceable part. Many on here have had them out and cleaned them but they should really not need doing if the oil changes are done on schedule. Its a filter of last resort to protect the valve gear. Interfering with the ball valve is also not a good idea as if you release it you may drain the oil from the uniair unit and cause yourself a ship load of pain and expense. Maintain the system by using the corretc oil and changing at the recommended intervals.I don't think that has anything to do with crank case venting.......rather gauze oil filter to protect uni air module
Search TA uniair filter and I am pretty sure you will find the information you are looking for as its been discussed before. Also look in thje guides 500TA and Panda as there a great guide on the uniair unit that will help.I will ev. try to find a thin walled socket to take out the valve, without having to remove the rocker cover. Guess I have to buy a cheap one and grind it til it gets through without damaging the threads of the hex cover protection screw. PCV valve is about 50ÂŁ. Part nr.: 71770205
Wonder which socket though 15 or 17mm?
Thanks mate.![]()

Twinair valve actuator oil filter | FIAT Panda (2012+)
I wrote this recently regarding the Twinairs valve arrangement. Obviously the system is reliant on engine oil, low engine oil and the valves/solenoids can't lift the valves and I seem to think there is/are "oil strainers" fitted to stop debris suspended in the oil entering unit. The oil...www.fiatforum.com
I hope one of these may help but I have read on here another Fiat document that says the filter is no a serviceable items. I have also heard on here something that says if removed it must be replaced. I suspect due to O rings as much as anything.
What you are talking about is not a pcv valveI will ev. try to find a thin walled socket to take out the valve, without having to remove the rocker cover. Sorry, meant actuator filter. PCV valve situated near oil filter. What you are talking about is not a pcv valve
Please post a photo of that part so we can see what you are mentioningSorry, meant actuator filter. PCV valve situated near oil filter.
This one situated rear between the two coils in centre of rocker cover. Please post a photo of that part so we can see what you are mentioning
It should be this one, as far as I understand.Sorry yes I know that part, I mean please post photo of the pcv valve you mention being near oil filter
