So I have done it, after days of searching I finally found a pair of original roof rails at a breakers yard in Thorrock Essex the guy only wanted £40 and they came with the fitting bolts also!!!

Fitting was so easy just remove the plasic screws and bolt these in, below are the results! She is looking like one sweet lil panda!

(just needs a clean!)

lovely car mate and i love the wheels but i bet it does your head in trying to clean them i know it would me.

Had a bit of a busy day today with the pandavan, repainted the battery securing bracket as it was looking a bit worse for wear.

Also gave her a real deep clean and polish, after reading a few reviews I bought some of Halfords own car polish and its one of the best I have tried and I really recommend it!

Also playing around with a chalk board fuel flap with pictures soon!

A interesting week mainly because not all my mods work! Tried fitting a retro AA badge to the bottom front grill just didn't look right, still removed the front fogs so can do the yellow tint film correct this time.
Also not liking my black chalk board fuel flap, bought a spare from a breakers to try it out on but just looks stupid! Stating to have second thoughts on the retro roof rack now think it will make the call look to tail, still might remove the rear wiper tomorrow to get that smooth look.

Doh! What made the chalk board not work?

I think the roof rack would work but just need it to tie in with other bits

It was just the matt black panel looked abit random!! Still done the rear wiper removing mod today and wow looks so smooth and decluttered at the rear now thanks to ittaifasttipo and Harey for the idea

Really easy mod to do just pop out the plastic clips, undo the allen bolt that holds the boot pull on and the cover comes off.
Its then a matter of just undoing the 3 allen bolts that hold the wiper motor on and the 10mm bolt that holds the wiper arm on.

I used a section of carbon wrap I had left over dont think it came out to bad.

Looks 100 x better. Still not sure about the roof bars (IMO of course)

Wheels and wiper removal = good

Roof bars make it look like a standard Panda imo.

Whatever floats your boat though!

Yeah, Coops. Wiper removal is supa! Not so keen on the roof rack thingy, like the others. I think it will make already tall Panda even taller. I doubt u want that. Euro look, yes! Tall and awkward, no so much. Its like a weave basket at the front of an old bicycle, cool. Same basket on a modern road bike would just look out of place.

Yeh the roof rails are interesting as some times I think they work and sometimes I think what the hell!!
I'm off to Cornwall in 2 weeks time will leave them on for that and see if my mind changes apart from that she is coming together lovely!!

Done a few things today on the Pandavan, first was a bit of clutch maintenance well worth looking at if you have a 100HP here is the link:

Also cleaned the engine bay and added to my sticker bomb fuse cover!

Interesting morning, went out to do a few things and when I came home to put the pandavan back in her garage sounded like the left front wheel was about to fall off!! (Straight away i thought sods law as about to drive down to Newquay on Saturday!!) Rolled the car back and forth and something was grinding good, before I called fiat thought i'd take a look so jacked the front up and after abit of searching found that a stone had got caught between the inner dust cover and the disc!! A bit of wiggling and the stone fell out problem fixed

Anyway done a bit of a interesting mod to the power steering bottle it now gives the car wings!! :devil:

Nice. I once slid one onto the tailpipe of the Seicento as exhaust trim. It seems a cheap mod.....

I think with scissors and careful use of Araldite you could get some decent RedBull badges to stick on your car and cause forum controversy.
