Hi All

Had my 1.9 Multijet 57 plate 33000 miles Re-mapped today 180 BHP and god what a difference so good! highly recommended, makes you smile lots
Sound local company Puma Build (mainly Ford tuners ) but will do other models.

Regards Kelvin

Nice one! 180hp shouldn't damage your engine but you'll still have loads more fun with it.

Got any pics of the dynograph?

Do you have the 120 or 150bhp to start? 180 seems a little low, most can get around 200bhp out of the 150

those 220bhp cars also seem to req new DMFs after a while :D

....dont listen to me im just jealous mines only a 1.4 dynamic haha

180 is perfect. Over 200 and you're just asking for trouble in my opinion, unless you upgrade the clutch and a few other bits and bobs.

Sounds great. Im really temped my self. How much did it cost? and How long did it take?
Cheers

Hi Mate difficult to say how much Mate.s rate .... but around £350 plus VAT for a customer
The torque is 390NM and very very smooth through the rev range (you just feed it the gears and hold on) should be fun it the damp weather?

Well worth a look my friend

The quality of the re-map file is paramount to the end result Puma Build have the files written by a well established team, experts in extracting maximum potential so take care of so called BHP enhancers with 200 plus claims as the torque curve can be so agressive making for a very poor driving experience

Regards kelvin

I just checked my print out from my remap and I have the following..

original stats for 1.9multijet
Bhp - 169.9
Torque - 359.7nm

remap stats from red dot racing
bhp - 199.4
torque - 425.3nm

If the car is already starting out at around 170bhp you can see why I thought 180 wasn't that much of an upgrade. Mine is as smooth as you like, ofcourse you feel a big surge if you floor it when the turbo kicks in but that is going to happen with all turbos. The main thing is that you are happy with the remap though :)

i want to ask some questions on remap ??!!

my car is 120 T-JET >> 2011 >> 10000 KM

1- Does it effect on the TURBO or the ENGINE badlyyy ??!!
2- Does it get me off the warranty or NOT ??
3- Does it fix the LAGGING in the AUTO-GEAR ??!!
4- How much HP & Torque GAIN ?

Too many questions :D but i always LIKE to be in SAFE ZONE :) :)
Thanks in ADVANCE

I find it extremely likely that Red Dot will have adjusted their dyno to give out higher results for everything making their end result seem more worth it. There's no way a 150 has 170 as standard.

I'm just saying what the graph shows. I will put up a scan of it. I remapped my multijet 120 as well and that was at a totally different mapping place and that was putting out 132 standard

This is why I wanna stick mine on a RR. I've heard that alot of people are kicking out more than it says on paper. Nice thought :p

I'm gonna get mine dyno'd soon. Costs a pretty penny though. :\

Killahboo, those graphs state that it's 170bhp at the flywheel not the bhp it's putting out "at the wheels"
