Hey everyone, i'm new to this forum although have been reading through posts for the last few weeks.

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the Rock n Roll blue? I have ordered a 500 in this colour and I am due to collect it next week, it was already in the showroom so no waiting etc. But I'm now wondering if I made the right choice with the colour! And when looking through photos etc it's making me think that I have made the wrong choice :bang:

I was originally gonna order Pasodoble red but seen the blue in the showroom and fell in love... but can't help thinking should have gone with Pasodoble red or BNW...

Thoughts please! :D

Look

If I was going to buy a 500 (waiting on the A5oo) it would be in this colour.....why

  • Unique
  • Classical Italian
  • see attached piccies

But really needs to Red interior for that Classic look as the colour can look a bit dull at times (just as black does)

Joseph is yours R n R blue? It looks so different on photos!
I can't wait to collect it as it is beautiful, got the blue & ivory chequered interior, like I said as soon as I seen it I just wanted it. I do love the leather just not able to wait so long for a new one to be built.

Blimey Joseph, that 500 is a dead ringer for the one my dad has in the shed at the back of his house in Perth. Same colour, same upholstery :) If I was living in Australia and I was getting a 500 I would probably get that very same comination :)

I still prefer BNW and red leather interior though :)

The blue colours seem to be a bit 'marmite'

Mine is Mod blue (discontinued). That was replaced by New Orleans blue (discontinued).

Now its Rock and Roll.

I like my dark blue, I don't have red seats, but I do have all the chrome accents which I think suits the dark blue especially well.

However, as mentioned, colour is such a personal thing.

Cheers

Sadly that is not my car - I just have a saved collection of favorite colour combinations that I was trying to determine what to order when I started thinking about a 5oo earlier this year ...it has been a case of every colour I liked was discounted or unable to obtain in Australia

Yes - it is a very dark colour that lends itself to a certain elegance and I think you need that ivory for the strong contrast. It appears to be extremely light sensitive

Enjoy

Thanks everyone for your responses. Good news though!

I popped into dealers on Sunday and noticed a lovely shiny new BNW in their showroom in place of my RnR blue. I rang yesterday and asked to swap haha, after much arguing I was repeatedly told no, then told yes as long as I get in today to sign for it. I said no as roads here are deadly with snow! So they then said no.

However I was woken up to a call from their lovely sales manager this morning stating it was no problem and I could swap! :slayer: So as he was so nice I braved the road and went to sign for it. Collecting my BNW lounge with side rubbing strips (500 logo) and chrome mirrors on Saturday... YAY!
