Hi guys!

I have a 2001 Seicento Sporting and I have an issue with the heater knob.

I am well aware of the heater valve issue, I just changed it today to a new one, so now the temperature is adjustable, it is not stuck.

But there is still a problem with the knob. I can only turn it to half way, and due to this, I can't set the cable housing on the valve in a position, where both hot and cold air can be adjusted.

Sorry for the bad quality photo, but it helps explain the issue.
When the heater knob is turned halfway, the end of the cable already touches the housing of it (the two part I pointing my finger), making it impossible to turn it more.
It feels like the knob way adjusted backward somehow. So when I turn it to the middle position, it is in the max setting, and when it is turned to the cold, that's the middle.
Even when the cable end was not connected on the valve side, it was like this.

How can I set the knob to the good position, so I can use the full range?
