Firstly you need:
  • a torx screwdriver - I think it's a 15 but try it;
  • a allen key, not sure on size;
  • a Philips screwdriver.

Removing the liner

Right, first job is to unscrew the liner from the top glove/cool box which is only 2 screws.

After you have got that out, I used it to keep my loose screws (no jokes please lol) in.

Removing the glovebox

You then need to take the main glove box out. You can do this by taking out all the screws you can see round the inside of the glove box out.

Footwell bolts

Then you need to take out 3 allen key bolts at the bottom of the glove box in the foot well

Final bolts

You will find that its fairly loose at this point, but there are 2 more to take out - these can be found behind the pass airbag switch [which just pops out] and there is a small Philips screw behind but BE VERY CAREFUL as the wire on the end of the switch is very thin; you will see when you take that panel of.

Well after those 2 last screws behind the airbag switch, it should pull out steady but once again go steady when you remove it as there is the glove box light wire and more inportant the Pass airbag module wire (this is yellow). I placed the glove box ontop of my tool box just so that it's not hanging by the wires.

Finding the bulkhead hole

Well in the hole where the glove box was, look to the right roughly behind the heater controls at the inside of the bulk head. You may see the flap - if not i poked my wire from the outside into the hole and i saw it come out (even better if someone is doing it while you're watchin for it).

Once it is through, tuck it out of everythings way; there is plenty of carpet and padding to go behind and run it round to below where the airbag switch is/side step trim.

There is 1 screw to unscrew to take the trim off so u can then run ur cable to underneath where the pasenger seatbelt is which is here:

Once the screw is removed the whole strip is only on clips so just pop off.

Final stages

Basically, everything is put back back and continue your cable under the rear seat, out the centre of the seats to wherever your amp is. The negative cable can be bolted to the rear seat bolts.

To put back just do everything in reverse. I have done this twice now; 1st time was 8g cable the second was with 4g (which i have now).

I forgot to put the side sill back on till after i got the box back in but it wont fit cos of the side panel airbag switch.

Well I hope this helps anyone! Feel free to PM me if u have troubles. After I put it in, I was so nervous with all the electrics I gave the car a start to check if I had bothered any wires but that was just me lol :confused:

Anywho glad to help (y)
