Seicento Zoe the 2001 Seicento SX

So now you can all stop whinging that I turn up to events in a Peugeot!

Introduction

Picked her up on Monday from Kidderminster - and strangely enough the train journey took longer (and cost more) than the ride home!

Only 20,000 miles on the clock and in pretty good condition for the age, just two areas of the paintwork with issues (a little lacquer peel on roof and some sun fade on the rear arch) but apart from that she looks great.

I hadn't driven a Seicento before and I must say it's a lot of fun, certainly easier to handle than my Jeep!

So yeah - now when you see me at events, I'll be once again properly representing the forum in a FIAT :D
Sorry to see this Ben.:(
As others said try to find the door as yours is really nice car. But if you do struggle to find one then you know where quite good Seicento for sale is ;)

Well it was a 4 hour drive that wasn't that fun, but I've got it.

Condition is ok actually, but we'll have to see how close it color matches!

Now... 4 hour drive back home 😭

Took a little a little longer than expected, but she's now secure and looking good again 😁

The door bolts came out ok, but then we needed to use a plank of wood to actually lever the door up off the car. Check strap was also a pain, so I swapped over the one from the original door.

Still got to get the lock re-keyed so I haven't put back on the interior trim yet, but everything else is good!

Now need to give her a good clean, the color matching so far seems perfect although there are some scratches on the new door.

Might come out with a polish perhaps and definitely not worth doing a respray.

I'm wondering if there's so kind of "damage magnet" on the driver's side, as someone has hit my driver's door again!

This time whilst parked up outside my house. Taken off the wing mirror (which luckily I could put back on) and left a big red paint steak down the door, along with some more heavy scratches 😭

Dad removed the red paint and tried to polish out the scratches, but could only do so much 😔

I've found since I've had my Seicento a lot of the Chelsea tractors don't tend to see you more so at night & as a result I've had a few near misses, where a Seicento is a lot smaller than the modern domestic appliances I find it quite similar to being in an old Mini

Yeah this is what my dad thinks. My road is quite narrow, so they use my car as their passing point...
