That said there isnt really much to update - the top mount that initiated replacing top mounts failed again so now that side has a brand spanking new oem nissan top mount and there is another for the other side which i havent swapped yet but i got both cause the cheap unbranded one will clearly start knocking soon as well... Actually on that topic should any of you end up with a cube or micra k12 one day.. Its not the top mount knocking its the cheap ass bearing underneath, just buy a bearing the top mount itself will be fine, i promise. lol
I did oil and filter and air filter recently, i was going to do the cvt gearbox oil change at same time but i was time challenged that day and on checking the oil it still looked brand new so I left that for a later, warmer day. Whilst under there though noticed both inner CV boots were not too hot and one had just started flinging grease and that the rear engine stabiliser dogbone thingy was also on the way out, and a very feint knock i decided was probably a drop link so swapped both them too.
Total side note, i hate the brakes on it, they were brand new when i got it but I had enough. Measured discs whilst doing the cv boots etc and confirmed it does have the smaller discs and calipers (238mm discs) and not the larger ones found on Cubic or UK Micras (260mm discs) - seller told me it had the bigger ones. To this end I have ordered some of the bigger calipers and discs and decent pads for it. So that and cvt oil are the to do jobs on it atm.
I think thats it... oh, i added a motorcycle brake light under the rear numberplate as a foglight. And its got a new sticker..
