My front screen wipers have developed an "interesting" fault. They work fine then just stop. When I stop the car, switch off and restart, the wipers are working again. I assumed it was a relay issue, but cannot find a relay listed for the wipers. Maybe it's a canbus overload.

Where do I look now? The wiper action is normal on all settings and both speeds. They always stop parked and they always work again after engine restart.

Any ideas?

I wondered about the motor but its fine again after engine restart. I'll check out the relay. Then see what's on eBay.

This looks promising though surprised it fits so many cars

Isnt that one Left hand drive?
All my usual suppliers have been out of stock for RHD wiper mechanisms for the last year or so.
I've started grabbing them off scrap Pandas as its a rare year when I get less than 3 wiper motor or mechanism problems to help out with.
(Blades frozen to screen after being left unparked overnight is the most common cause, but randomly stopping or sudden go-slow are also favourites)
The motor itself is shared with the RHD 500 so pretty sure I've used a couple of them as well, grafted on to a Panda mechanism.
