Should have a choice of 5 on this link...

Would stick to blue on your car give the engine a good clean and the blue pipes come up nice as well.

Best advice take your time and don't put on too much per coat, your also better with aerosol than brush as it will have a much smoother finish.

A good liberal spraying of WD40 on all the other parts (Coolant/brake resevoirs battery front air pipes etc will give it a nice sheen as well afterwards (Rub it in with a lint free cloth after to prevent dirt sticking to it) but not on a windy day or you'll get WD40 all over your windscreen :yuck:

Sound advice from Honest Al, I brushed my paint on and am not happy with the finish, also sprayed a little too much of the red and it has flaked on one side..........looks OK from a distance

On the 'to-do' list for another day!!

thanks kc smashing(y)
i think i have found my b twin by the did do you have Lucas brakes mine does.i have been told these on came on the early one any body else heard this

Yep! i have lucas front calipers on mine. Only found out after purchasing new green stuff front pads and they wouldnt fit. Had to fit ferodo pads in the end, but i think they are equally as good if not better.

Not sure if these calipers are better or worse than the others and if they can be changed but all seems well so far. (y)

I have noticed that there is a wiring loom avaliable by my brakes, i,d imagine this is a for a low brakepad warning , which i dont have.

Maybe someone could tell me if there brake calipers has this.

Hey KC, what happened to the old Green pads that didn't fit?? ;)

The bit of wire dangling down is the low pad indicator (not such function on the callipers), I would not worry about it too much though - my experience of being on a hoon with you is that you don't use your brakes that often anyway!! :D

No abs in mine. I have the high temperature blue spray ordered. All I need is for the wind and rain to stop.

I know this is old thread but now I’m tinkering with the B again have discovered that the first Barchetta’s off the production used the cams from the 2.0 Alfa TS . 1213 and 551 hence maybe the more bhp they had before being de tuned slightly and used slightly lower profile cams

Also as built a performance head from a 97 model , I’ve discovered the metal inlet manifold had been changed modified too.

My early one 95 model had a water pipe that runs through it and the later one not . My nephew says it was to do with the cold idle but here in Cyprus with the heat I don’t need so have done away with it with the new intake system .

You can see the difference in the photos .

after purchasing 2.0 ltr Alfa cams as an upgrade it came to my surprise , I already had the same profile Installed from the beginning.

I have now purchased the 2.0 Alfa JTS cams that have a better exhaust profile .
