Technical Is my engine running correctly based on the sound?

Hello,

I own a B since a few months and I am trying to understand if my motor is correctly or if I need to have valve springs, valve tappets or camshaft set checked....

Based on the video I recorded can you help me understand if my motor sounds correctly like a normal barchetta or is something off?



I know the right garage and where to source the parts, but just want to have a second opinion from everyone here before I go ahead to the garage as this is a expensive repair...

On YouTube this sounds much too loud for comparison with my 1998 B with 110kms on the clock. Possibly sounds as though good maintenance practice was not followed over its lifetime. And, my layman's experience is that it pays to always use the best and specified oil.

Could you upload a video of your´s for comparison and as reference for the mechanic? If not too much of a work for you of course! Thank you!

Maintenance, it had regular maintenance from all the documentation I have of it. But if the right oil was used, that is another one... I am wondering if a oil change and some Hydraulic Lifter Additive by Liquimoly could help fixing this.
