Technical Can I run my Barchetta without the original 5mm spacers?

Hello,

Sorry if may sound a dumb question but I need help. Can I fit 15" 30ET or 32 ET wheels on my Barchetta without the original 5mm spacers?

Bought my B with beautiful Abarth 35ET wheels. but they need a 5mm spacer (currently using the original B 5mm spacers).

The issue, is that in Portugal spacers are not well acepted by street law. So I am wondering what wheels can I fit to remove the spacers (even thogh they are original...).

It kind of depends on how wide your rims are.
With standard 6.5-7.5J rims ET30-35 will be fine without spacers.

Is not Portugal in the EU/Europe? The Barchetta was homologated for Europe/EU with spacers so being factory standard, as opposed to after market, they should be perfectly OK in Portugal.

You can use ePER on this website ( https://eper.fiatforum.com/en/Drawings/Detail/F/F/BAR/PK/331/25/0/0/SubSubGroup ) to get a parts lists clearly showing the factory spacer.

Indeed it was, last time I checked! : ) Attention should be paid to EU regulations that only allow replacement wheels to have exact dimensions as manufacturers replacement wheels. However it is not said with or without spacers.

6.7.1. The nominal rim diameter, nominal rim width and nominal inset of ECE-approved wheels shall be the same as the manufacturer's replacement wheel.

Also there's rule about minimum clearance between the wheel and the brake components (3mm) and suspension/steering components (4mm). The minimum clearance must always be guaranteed, in static and dynamic conditions.
