Hi all
I have a 2012 1.6mj 105 (263 engine) 135,00kms
On start up it pumps out clouds of white smoke which lasts for about 10mins. It's still a bit smoky and lumpy even when the engine reaches nomal temp.
I'm not losing any coolant or oil.
Glow plug resistance is fine but no voltage from the relay. Bosch unit 0 281 003 043. There is 12V going to it on the 5 pin plug but I dont know what the other pins should be. I've tried the internet but no joy. Dont want to waste 80€ if its not that.
Fault codes that came up but havent reurned after being cleared are; P010F MAF, cleaned and no obvious problems.
P1131 Lambda 1, signal upstream plausibility ?????
P0131 O2 sensor, low voltage bank 1 sensor 1.
The mileage flashes constantly, but the battery voltage is fine.
Its been to a couple of mechanics who have ruled out the injectors but dont want to waste days trying to find the problem.
One said there was metal in fuel and I need to change the entire fuel system. I have ordered an new filter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
