We’re organising a trip to Turin in May 2008 to raise money for a cancer charity and using The Italian Job as a theme, but using classic Pandas instead of Minis. We already have a 1000cc red one and a 750cc blue one but need a decent tidy white one to complete the set. A car needing a little lightweight tidying up wouldn’t be out of the question but it’s got to be basically mechanically + structurally sound so no resto projects please. Prepared to travel from Lancashire for the right car at the right price.
One of our targets as well as raising money for charity is also to take 3 Pandas, that have cost £100 or less each ,back home to where they were built. On course so far as the 2 we have are up and running cars with less than £200 invested, so if you’ve a white Panda wanting a new home and a big trip across Europe for a good cause could you let us know.
Details of the trip will be appearing here soon, and on a website specifically for the trip but we’re just trying to get the cars together first, then we’ll start passing the begging bowl around for sponsors/contributions etc!!
