Technical Wheel / tyre size for 126 Bis

Hi all. Thanks for the kind comments on the Bis/Fire project. Im looking to fit a set of X1/9 O.Z. routes to it now . Just wondering on tyre size. Im not so worried about looks, just speedo error and rubbing. Anyone fitted X1/9 wheels before? Abd what tyre size did you fit?
I'm thinking 165 60 on the back and maybe 155 60 on the front. Any advise would be great ?

Ok, scratch that. For speedo error to be the same i need 155 65 13 all round. Anyone tried this combo before? Cheers

That is the size I run. Have had them on Wolfrace & Uno Turbo alloys and early Panda steelies. Currently have them on old Cromadoras

No problems there & mine is an air cooled . I think with a Bis you will have a bit more clearance.

If you do end up fitting these tyres can you put a picture up? I have a set of x/19 alloys aswell (the pepper pot style ones) and bought a set of unused 145/70 tyres to go on them after they get refurbed but now wondering what a set of 155s would look like

No problems there & mine is an air cooled . I think with a Bis you will have a bit more clearance.

I forgot to ask you what length bolts you use with the alloys? I think im right that the thread is m12 x 1.5. Just unsure of correct thread length for alloys. Cheers
