Porch up, and looking great, outside light up and working, power now connected to the garage and the drive is reinstated. I have the ring main to close with a few meters of wire and the kitchen to wire up then its wall boarding and bathroom. I shifted the last of the rubble and rubbish to the tip yesterday. Noop was loaded to maximum weight which he simply shrugs at. The old water tank and porch timbers and the better part of half a ton of rubble all out yesterday. so the place now looks like someone loves it. Im off shortly to check the PIR settings are good after a nearly day off.
Thank heaven above for the sports massage lady in Dereham. A three week headache is receeding and I can stand straight again for a few hours at least. I find it almost beyond belief how effective a well done sports massage is. The lady concerned is running in the London marathon for Versus Arthritis charitiy. She didn't mention sponsorship, so I decided to contribute. It seems she will have raised quite a few thousands I think once done. Hats off.

Due to my youngest arriving a week late we've launched into having 2 kids at a time my eldest is off school.

Originally we were gonna have at least a week where the eldest was at school but instead we got 1 day.

So bit of divide and conquer this week with me taking the eldest to see Minecraft (which he loved and I thought was canny within the confines of a children's film).

Abandoned the family wagon at home so my wife could have the pram etc. and utilised the C3 party piece of isofix in the front (that's right you can fit more car seats into it than a VW Tiguan). His level of buzzing to be in the front 🤣. "I can see EVERYTHING!!!".

That and the green car matched his Minecraft T-shirt..

Sorry to hear of the situation you find yourself in. I have some idea what it's like as Mrs J has been hospitalized with pneumonia twice in the last 18 months or so. Both time I was told to go home as there was nothing I could do but to "prepare" myself - whatever that meant? Each time she was in for a week or so and the house seemed a very lonely and empty place without her. It also brought home to me how much I rely on her for so many of the "little" things I don't know about. Although we don't have a dog - due to Mrs J's athsma - I grew up in a country house in a dog loving environment. My Mum was a founder member of the dog aid society and there were always several much loved dogs, mostly collies and spaniels, around. It was always a great loss when one of them passed on. I wish you well at this time. regards Jock

Its very good to hear from you. Well I am glad there is a small Ray of light. I think may be another dog might be good? Google the French Bull-Jack. Not demanding but hugely affectionate. My thoughts are with you. can you post pics of your new work-panda-horse?
