General Twinair not staying in eco mode

Hi all. Bought a 2018 500 twin air, but noticed that when you put it into eco mode then stop the engine and restart it eco mode is lost. This also seems to be the case if stop-start cuts in at traffic lights, so when the engine restarts eco mode is switched off.
I had a twin air before and it would remember the setting so if you switched eco mode on then it would stay in eco mode until you switched it off again.
Has anybody seen this also and do you know if there are some hidden setting or options about defaulting to eco or non eco mode?

I can confirm that the default on starting is ECO mode for an 85 PS 500 twin air. But I will have to check if it resets if stop-start is active. For a 105 PS 500 the engine will stay in sport mode if the engine is stopped. I have not seen an option in the owners manual or using multiECUscan to change this to keep it not in ECO mode.

My 2013 Twinnie retains whichever setting was selected at switch off when the engine is started again. I can't say for sure without testing - I rarely have S/S activated these days - but I'm sure it also retains the setting. I only use the Eco setting at all because it lightens the steering for parking, etc.

I've a TA 2023 4x4 panda the ECO defaults to on i.e. every time you switch on the engine you have to switch it off if you don't want it on then the next time you start the car the ECO switch is on.

I think we have now solved this. Last Saturday the car refused to start due to low battery power. I have since replaced the battery and now the Eco mode is also behaving and when you switch to Eco mode it stays after stopping and restarting the engine. So it looks like this is another symptom of a failing battery.
