Technical Gearstick vibration on Twinair

I've seen replacement kits for DMF clutches. It's a normal clutch kit plus new flywhee.l IIRC it's been around 350 € when I looked for my Twinair. Luckily my car was not equipped with DMF

I'm quite attached to the car as it was my crash repair project 5 or so years ago, so I'm going to get them to replace it and hope it helps.

sometimes its not just about the money! can fully understand that! strange these attachments we form with inanimate objects isnt it!

Thanks for the update; good to hear that you've got this sorted.

They think it's the DMF, they didn't know it had one and would have replaced it with the clutch

I can understand an independent garage not knowing this when they first quoted for the job, but not realising once they'd got the gearbox off and the clutch out....

Hope they gave you a good deal on the labour costs second time around - or did you take it somewhere else?
