Hi All. My 2015 2.3 multijet doesn't seem to have a traction contol button. I'm sure my 2012 did have some kind of ASR or traction button. Is this right or am I missing something?
Thanks

Does it have an ASB system?

No ASB means no traction control, which uses the ASB wheel sensors to detect wheel slip/spin.

I do not have ASB on my Ducato, but it is present on two other vehicles. On both of these vehicles the combined ASB pump/ECU unit is an under bonnet module with 6 hydraulic brake pipes and a multiway electrical connector. In view of the dual brake circuits on the front wheels of the Ducato I would expect 8 hydraulic pipes plus electrical connector. For ASB the wheels need to be fitted with toothed speed sensor rings.

Hi, the van does has anti skid brakes that I know as ABS.
Thanks

Yes I agree, I should have remembered to use the slightly more modern abbreviation. When I first read about them many years ago, they were described as anti skid brakes, which soon became, as you correctly state, Antiskid Braking System. Unfortunately I still remember the original description.
