General top speed and 0 to 60

hello guys,

this goes to fiat punto mk2 1.2 8v mia people lol if you do drive one then whats the fasttest you have gone, whats the top speed you can get out of it and these cars 0 to 60 are 13.8 seconds but when you rag it whats the quickest 0 to 60 these cars car do..

Top speed ive gone so far is 107 Mph

Unless your doing this on a track , which I doubt, I am asking you to cut it out.
This kind of thing is not ok on public roads and I don't want to see a discussion about it neither.

Iv had 97mph out of mine,
And 0/60 is about 10 seconds with a few mods

And people wonder why Punto's fail half of the time, well guys here's your answer, idiots ragging the balls off them.

Whilst these cars are happy to do 96mph maybe more, it isn't the point we have speed limits for a reason, and people who break these speed limits just gives our beloved government ammunition to put further restrictions in place on motorist, whos heard about the EU wanting to put limiters in cars? Just like company vans/hgvs/buses etc

I'm for one who frowns on this sort of behaviour, if you want to test how good your car is then book yourself on a track and do what you like. But don't do it on public roads and in danger other road users!

Well said Ben, as soon as I saw this thread I knew it would get this reaction. This is a friendly (law abiding) forum and I wouldn't want to see this behaviour at meets either where the whole forum could get judged by it. Track day and German highways only

Mines 0-60 is 0.2 seconds and does about 302mph max

Punto is happy upto the admitted top speed but thats it

0 - 60 is no gpod when you in traffic

That explains the fate of the old engine, then...! :devil:

Personally, I've found that my Sporting front bumper and steering wheel have added at least half-a-dozen horses to my Punto....

Id personally blame it on overheating a few times more than once it did that, so that'd be its fate only joking overheating only blows the hg not crankshaft, id put money on being cheap oil that do no good for engine

The published 0-62 time is, I'm afraid, as good as it gets without modifications. Generally they're set by extremely competent pilots under ideal conditions -- or by computers.

I'm seriously thinking of taking my sporting bits off.
Having a sporting seems to attract them chav's in poxhall corsa's .
