Hi all
Can you tell me how the ball joint on the tipo gear linkage is retained in place - I let a "professional" replace my steering rack to find that the gear linkage comes adrift every 2nd day

Hello again - wrong ball joints, all the arms are secured but the larger ball at the end of the control arm is sloppy - a previous post by Hellcat shows some sort of a cap over the joint which is missing in mine - anyone know what it is and if still available

It's the end of the control arm that has the problem? Could you replace it? Sedicirich (I think it was) made up his own using threaded bar and rose joints.

Hello Hellcat - thanks for your contribution and I have now made my own insert, now works a treat, the insert must have missing a long time because I've now got a snappy gear change for the very first time.
Now got another onging problem - see my 'botom ball joint post'
