Right guys n girls, I'm sure you know the drill with this already.

As part of our stand at Craigtoun park we'll be having us a wee BBQ again. Yay!

The general idea is that if we have around 20 folk, and everyone brings a couple of things with them, we all have a slap up meal for a couple of quid per person. Seemples!

So I'll get the ball rolling. I'm taking:

200ish Drinking Cups
150 paper plates
300 Napkins
72 pc Plastic Cutlery
Water Carrier (15 litre)
2 packs of Cocktail Sticks
4 Foil Platters
Cool Box and cool packs
100 Straws
200 Cocktail Sticks
50 Bamboo Skewers
BBQ Utensils
4 Plastic Bowls (cereal on the Sunday, anyone?)
Plus black bags

The above stuff I've been slowly buying up since New Year. I don't imagine we'll use all the cups or plates this year, so that means we'll have plenty left again for shows later in the summer/next year. Really, all we're missing now is some disposable BBQ's to cook stuff on! We always seem to end up with at least one properly firing BBQ and I never know who's that is - would be a welcome addition if anyone knows!

Food wise I'm going to take
:
2x Bottles of Barr Cola
Kellogs Variety Pack (for anyone camping who fancies cereal in the morning)
Breakfast Packs for early doors Sunday (Sausages/Bacon/Black and Fruit puding etc)
2 x Beans (See above - oh, and obv. thats tins, not individual beans!)
Tea Bags / Milk & Sugar

Think that's a decent start - so just to recap we do NOT need any cups/plates/cuttlery or napkins etc lol

Roughly, I reckon we'll have around 20 folk on site so lets see what we can gather up between us!

I'll raid Aldi's again but won't bring random sweets and biscuits - I've realised literally no one wants these as I've always taken them back untouched with me at the end of the weekend both years I've brought them

I'll get a random selection of some decent BBQ fodder and obviously a few beers for the night before the main event. Shall also bring along some soft drinks for the Sunday and a few other bits and pieces I think should hopefully be useful though haven't found any swan repellent yet. Would use a lighter and deodorant can but the Queen would launch a vendetta against me.

Can never have too many plastic cups - just use the rest for rudimentary communications devices and various magic tricks

auch, what the hell, i'll bring a few hundred plastic cups too :D

we can build a cinq out of them for dislay purposes or make a castle for the kids that get dragged along by parents :D
