This is not a problem when it's a newb - we're all happy to help people who don't know how the system works but when it's a veteran of shows and meets it gets a bit wearing after a while. That's probably why no-one else took exception to Andi's post until nearly a week after it was made.

But as you said, he just wants somone to add his name to any lists for meets & shows, & that's not how it works.
Fair enough somone who is new to the forum, we will happily help out then, but in the case of Andy, he is just wanting things done his way.

Aha fair enough with that, but Andy doesn't post from a Phone.
So there should be no reason why he can not add his name to a list, rather than expecting somone else to do it for him.

Its easier to do it on the ipad or the rare occasion the lappys turned on but the phone is just too small lol!
 
Finances being the way they are despite employment, I will be at least able to participate in at least one of these though can't confirm 100% at the moment unfortunately :/ Recent MOT goings on have kind of put a strain on the bank account and such after all though I'd like to make both...
 
Bump.

At last years Glasgow meet we had to juggle food and bowling as we hadn't booked for 8 people so it would be good if we could get numbers sooner rather than later for this.

I've fired round a mass PM this evening - I'm gonna let this list stay open til I finish work on Friday. At that point I realy need to get a groove on and get booking, so please add your name to the food and bowling lists if you'd like to join us.

Ok, pretty major update folks.

I've booked the table at Bella Italia, Braehead, for 7.00pm on Saturday 17th November.

For the bowling, would everyone be ok with a 4.30pm start? An hour per game, with two games, should be enough? The bowling would be £13 per person, based on 2 games and including a drink from the bar.
 
Ok just to update (it's already in the main post but I'll re-post)

There is a booking for 10 for the main meal and additionally a booking for 10 for the bowling, immediately prior to the meal.

This should more than cover those who expressed an interest in attending - including rallycinq.

Any queries, just shout.

PPS. I'm planning a few practice sessions at Codonas before the meet, so I don't get shown up this year!

Get lift with Steve, spoon with Andi and then all you need is money for bowling and food.
