500 The loooooong wait is over

Introduction

Hi folks,

After fifteen weeks of sitting on the fence, endless e-mail and phone conversations, scrimping and saving, going to the Geneva Show, numerous
e-heart to heart conversations, and even glances at other 500's, I took delivery of my new baby at last this morning.

So far, I'm so so pleased and haven't stopped grinning.

Pictures attached for your information and enjoyment.
any chance of some pics from the interior of your lush looking 500? its almost enough to make me blatantly copy your config and forget waiting for the abarth version!! :D

This will have to wait until next week; I am in the Far East hopping from country to country for four weeks (Phuket as we speak) and today is the first time I've signed into this forum for a while.

Did not bring my laptop with me otherwise I'd have dealt with this much earlier.

My ex told me his new fella took delivery of a 500 Sport in almost exactly the same specifcation as me except it was a Lounge, and red leather instead of electric sunroof. It took the wind out of my sails!!

I better take out an application for a copyright on my specification!!

Don't worry - at least you will have the wind in your hair instead, with that GORGEOUS sunroof (well, if we ever get a summer over here!)

P.S. Who is babysitting your 500?!

Just popping in for a few minutes. 500 is tucked up in the garage complete with carpet :).

I BADLY miss it, but at least the four-week separation has strengthened my love for it, and can't wait to take it out for a pootle. :slayer:

I'm back on British soil now! Further to my e-mail of 6 days ago, I attach pictures of B&W's interior which I hope will help point you in the right direction. The grey as shown should be much darker as I used the flash facility on my camera.

Only non-Fiat extra is the sat nav which was installed for £40. I will get polished alloy sports pedals in due course.
