500 The loooooong wait is over

Introduction

Hi folks,

After fifteen weeks of sitting on the fence, endless e-mail and phone conversations, scrimping and saving, going to the Geneva Show, numerous
e-heart to heart conversations, and even glances at other 500's, I took delivery of my new baby at last this morning.

So far, I'm so so pleased and haven't stopped grinning.

Pictures attached for your information and enjoyment.
Morning, and thank you for your kind comments. Each one to their own, but good to see differently specced 500's from all walks of life and nationwide, rather than two or three basic trim levels. The world would be a duller place without all these 569,000 possible combinations!

Used the sunroof for the first time, it's brillant and well worth the £500. As I said in earlier post, had to decide between that or the leather. Sunroof won the day.

Pleased it all came within budget which is a bonus.

I'm really looking forward to Auto Italia on 1st June; first venue I'm taking my 500 to.

sunroof looks great but out of interest, did you get to sample the leather seats 'in the flesh'? (lol)
...if so, what were they like in terms of quality and comfort?

Yes, I tried the leather in one of the display 500's at the Geneva Show. While I loved it, I had to adhere to a budget, it was either that or that.

I had leather seats in my previous Streetka and they were heated too. 500 doesn't have heated seats do they?

I've got enough leather clothes at home!

very very very nice! im really beging to like the 500's! but i have to say its no lambo or R8 like in 1 of ur pics, but then i bet it dint cost quite as much as them!

top car!(y)

LOL, the ceramic brakes on the Lambo costs £10,000 extra. Says it all really, but they were very, very effective having went in one last summer. Eyeballs could have popped out and splattered the windscreen, that's how good its arresting power is.

Thanks again for your kind comments.

Blatant copying is not allowed!
500,000 different combos. So you could do it the same then have different wheels. :D

well...there would be some differences! id be going for the 1.4 sport, and id be having red leather rather than the sunroof, along with red brake calipers, and yea, probably different style wheels :) ...so really only the colour/chrome/sticker combos that id be plagiarising!
