Re: The One And Only New Fiat Logo And New Bravo Thread.....

Maybe the advert is saying you'll hate this car so much you'll want to take it to the top of a very high building a push it off.

No looks very nice. Wasn't entirely convinced by the interior at Brooklands, mostly in the seat two-tone colour arrangement. Probably look nice in leather. A big step forward from the Stilo. Not sure I would swap for my 156 though.

Well done.

Now I've finally seen it.

OK I suppose. Pity we didn't see more of the car. And the music was nothing special. And a bit short?

Looking forward to seeing it at the cinema.

I loved the old Coupe ad. Great music, sublime shots of the bodywork, and the conclusion: "in Italy no one dreams of being a train driver"....sublime.

Saw loads in Paris last week. I rekon it will be a big seller. At first glance, it looks a bit like a focus. The next time you see it, you can regocnise the Maserati front end and the smooth curves.

I wont be buying one unless they bring out a 3dr Arbarth version (which has been rumoured, but not confirmed).

Nice looking car though.

Re: The One And Only New Fiat Logo And New Bravo Thread.....

Took a look at the Dynamic version today.

I think this was it, but as a kid salesman was trying (really trying actually) to hard-sell me one when I stated that all I wanted to do was look, I can't be certain. Please salesmen out there; if you want me to buy a car, indulge my pleasure in talking about a new car by all means, but stop repeatedly asking me when I want to change my present one with every other sentence, as it really, really, pisses me off:mad:

Anyway, the Dynamic has cured the horrid plakky centre box on the basic car by the fitment of a perfectly smart cloth-covered one, and it has electric rear windows too.

However, the real downer for this otherwise fine car is the lack of space for the clutch foot. The Panda has space so why not the Bravo? No clutch foot rest as nowhere for your foot to go, except to get stuck under the pedal. There could be an easy fix, but in the meantime this is serious.

Otherwise, except for the lack of a proper spare and poor rear room, this is a very fine car.

Hi people. took the baby out for a spin today both me and my dad went to our local nuneaton garage and had a drive in the dynamic 1.9 150bhp multijet and 1.4 t-jet sport with 18inch rims.

I have to say, Fiat have done a good job. Very nice to drive and I loved the t-jet. It does pull nicely and rev smoothly and quickly - maybe I'm just used to a diesel but I really liked the t-jet. Inside the dash is very stylish and comfortable. the back is slightly tight for the legs but will do it for most people.

all in all, the t-jet is a good engine and can't wait when we go to buy a new car soon. (hopefully the finances will be better)(y)

I'd be really intertested in your views on ride quality on the 18" rims. Several of the journos have criticised it as too choppy...

Re: The One And Only New Fiat Logo And New Bravo Thread.....

to be honest it was not really properly driven on rough pot hole roads but the ride in my view was very good when driven over some rough roads. I drive a stilo mw on 17 inch and it seemed better and more composed.

bearing that in mind, the car comes standard with 17's so it is bound to be better in that form and even in 18 i did not have much to complain about. By the way, that engine is a peach!!! I like the dashboard that has bars that fill up when the turbine spins, pretty cool!!!

Hope that helps, but in my view it was fine, and also I live in Coventry so we have very bad roads down here.

OK the wife and I are considering getting a Bravo. Might be an ideal replacement family car for the current Stilo and 156 Alfa...........
Like the idea of the Diesel MPG and performance - never owned a Diesel before but I think they've cracked them now..........Will be testing some shortly......I'll report back......looking at the revised Fiat.co.uk website I have to say the 1.9 Multijet with 18" wheels and in Maserati Blue looks superb!
