the family wheels

the family wheels

i can't see the justification for a 4x4 for
a) towing caravan club mag never rates the 4x4 but goes for the volvo's/ estate BM's etc. and thats including twin axle caravans
b) family duties, did you not see the crash results from 4x4 (a pillar's splitting all over the shop) you'd be safer in a new fiesta.
c) light off roading 0 as if there is going to be right wheel base and clearance for that in a modern chelsea tractor - you'd be better of with a 19885 range orver with 100inch wheelbase

as for serial spamming dave, lets not tag all josh's with the same brush...

We need something that will go over quite rough terrain without getting stuck, as the mercedes just spins everywhere whenever my mum goes near a building site :D

think they will probably end up with a diesel quattro audi next (y)

isn't it to do with kerb weights etc. and that twin axle trailers are different to twin axle caravans as there is less to do with weight with caravans and more to do with mass (as theya re basically a light box waiting to be blown around)

a disco is fine to pull a fendt diamant vip with a permitable weight of 2000kgs.

My dad had an ML320 (superceded by ML350), wouldnt bother!

Apparently reasonably capable offroad, although wouldnt want to trust it.

It's big, expensive, the steering is awful but has a nice V6.
