Its actually the yard of W H Malcolm, one of our biggest hauliers up here. they sweep the yard all the time, no staples at all.

Think I've found the oil leak. One of the stud holes on the back of the head does not have a bottom. The oil can get out. I'll pop a bolt in and check.

Next problem to overcome is the front engine mount.
The rear one is fine but the engine moves about a lot. I am taking the front one to bits to find a way to increase the rigidity (viagra might do it)

Which side? Drivers side? I almost broke mine removing the mount, rubber ripped a bit, and hadn't the funds to replace it. I stripped it down, and filled in all the gaps with a tough silicone, and it has a lot less movement and play in it now.
It's held together for a thousand miles, but not sure on the long term durability.
When it dies, i'm gonna get a custom poly bush made up to fit in place of the rubbers.
The passenger side mount looks like it could be made in poly REALLY easily. Just 3 strips secured in place.

Its the passenger side one that has the most movement. Its just a big rubber damper that needs replacing with something more solid.
Because the rear one is so good its acting as a pivot.

Took the mount off, the rubber bottom bit was all torn. Rubber bit removed, big alloy washer in its place and a 10mm bolt right through the lot.
Job Done.
